LEX – MEX liquid ring pumps Finder are vacuum pumps for moving most gases and creating a vacuum or overpressure. They are great at dealing with gas-liquid mixtures, such as very humid air. LEX / MEX are two different versions of the same single stage water ring sealed pump. They work without oil, which makes them very economical and environmentally friendly. Maintenance and operation of these devices is kept to a minimum.
LEX pumps have a special bracket that connects the pump to the electric motor. The flanged end of the bracket allows connection to any IEC motor in B5 design or, with the addition of a dedicated adapter flange, to any NEMA “C” flange motor. These devices are characterized by quiet running and low vibration.
Due to the flexibility in the selection of the motor, LEX pumps can also be used as a compressor. Compression in the pump is isothermal. Due to their design, LEX pumps are also available with ATEX certification.
MEX, on the other hand, are monoblock pumps. This means that the pump is attached directly to the motor flange and the pump impeller is attached directly to the motor shaft. This version makes the pump extremely compact and suitable for mounting on OEM equipment. The motor options available are: 50Hz, 50 / 60Hz and 60Hz UL – EPACT.
The design of the Finder LEX / MEX is very simple and compact to ensure the highest reliability. It has only one moving part – the rotor. The basic structure is made of cast iron with a bronze or stainless steel impeller, but a full stainless steel version as well as other alloys can be provided upon request. Other material versions are possible (Hasteloy, Tytan).

Due to their versatility and low space requirements, the LEX and MEX models will find use in all industrial applications related to vacuum. The main applications are in the plastics industry, sterilization, food, textiles, soil remediation, aeration of wastewater, aeration of water reservoirs and others requiring gas and vapor extraction. Particularly useful where it is possible to suck in various types of aggressive substances, for example in a wood drying room.
Aeration pumps in domestic sewage treatment plants work reliably and quietly.
