Lubrication of the pump’s internal components is completely automatic. The pump is equipped with a 230/460 V coil for controlling the oil solenoid valve. This avoids flooding the pump with oil in the event of a power failure or loss of vacuum.

High pumping speed

The hydrokinetic drive system allows the booster pump to be started simultaneously with the pre-pump, which protects the motor against overload. The ZRS booster pump thus supports the pumping process from the moment it begins to pump down and allows it to reduce its time by 50%.

Reliability

Operation at low pressure increases the reliability of the pump. ZRS 250 – 4200 Roots vacuum pumps series has a high quality oil-free pumping mechanism. The most important features of this mechanism are quiet and vibration-free operation, strength and corrosion resistance, as well as modern shaft sealing technology preventing oil contamination of the process chamber.

Significant cost reduction

The use of ZRS mechanical booster pumps saves installation and operating costs. The purchase cost is lower because no valves, bypass lines or pressure switches are needed. Smaller primary pumps can also be used than with standard booster pumps.
