BCA lobe pumps DVP are volumetric vacuum pumps. Thanks to the interlocked, non-contact rotation of two rotors with two vanes, housed in a specially shaped chamber, they create volume and convey air through the intake manifold to the exhaust manifold. They operate completely dry, without lubrication or residues created by brushing or contact during rotation. BCA volumetric vacuum pumps should always be installed in series with primary-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pumps. This combination allows for high vacuum levels to be achieved.

For optimal operation, BCA lobe pumps are equipped with innovative AdaptShield technology, which automatically protects the BCA lobe pump and the primary-lubricated pump in the event of critical events such as loss of performance and overheating.
BCA lobe pumps can be supplied with IEC 72 B5-compliant motors in three different configurations:
- BCA pump without motor
- BCA pump with IE3 motor
- BCA pump with IE3 motor + AdaptShield
Main application areas: pharmaceuticals, vacuum metalworking, transformer oil degassing, food processing, and food packaging.
