When used with an Edwards controller or directly integrated into the system control, the WRG is an economical vacuum management solution. This pressure gauge is particularly suitable for pressure monitoring in systems that are quickly pumped from atmospheric pressure to a high vacuum level.

For applications requiring extended pressure monitoring from 10^-2 to 10^-4 mbar, Edwards recommends the use of separate Active Pirani (APG100) or Active Inverted Magnetron (AIMX) gauges.
