Industrial compressed air dryers

Industrial compressed air dryers

Excessive moisture in the atmospheric air or compressed air installation shortens the life of your devices, destroying their components. It can accelerate corrosion, damage seals, or contribute to freezing of pipes.

The emission of oil vapors and water vapor also poses a threat to the environment and can create mold and fungi that are hazardous to health. Its appearance in an industrial environment can have a negative impact on the production process, causing losses and failures.

Systematic drying of compressed air will avoid problems related to excessive moisture levels or the appearance of unwanted condensation or frost. In addition, it will increase the comfort of work and well-being of employees, while protecting their health.

All preventive actions translate into extending the life of your devices and extending the periods between their repairs or service. Thanks to this, we can reduce the costs of unplanned expenses and maintain production or storage at the highest level.

Industrial dehumidifiers – application

Industrial compressed air dryers are a proven solution that is widely used in many industries. Examples include the electronics, optics, medicine and pharmacy industries (respirators and other medical equipment), varnishing and automotive industry, food industry (water and beverage bottling plants), I&C (Control and Measurement Equipment and Automation), plastics processing, glass industry, and many other.

Our offer includes refrigeration (refrigeration) dryers, using the method of stream cooling and condensation, most often at temperatures of approx. +3oC, adsorption dryers with a dew point of -40 to -70oC and membrane dryers.

Industrial compressed air dryers – choosing the right device

In order to choose the right device, we first need to determine the flow rate and temperature of the compressed air that we want to dry, the current and desired maximum humidity level, and the temperature and humidity of the environment in which the set is to operate. In the catalog cards of devices, attention should also be paid to the air flow in the installation, working pressure and power consumption. It is also important to meet the ISO 8573-1 standard, which defines the purity classes of compressed air.

The above parameters will help you choose the right industrial dehumidifier for effective removal of moisture from a specific installation and reduce operating costs by maintaining adequate power consumption.

The main difference between the available condensation, adsorption and membrane dryers lies in their price and capabilities. Refrigeration dryers are typically cheaper and more energy efficient at higher operating temperatures and high humidity than adsorption dryers. Their additional advantage is the ability to work in a dusty environment. Adsorption dehumidifiers, on the other hand, have a wider range of temperatures in which they can operate, but as a rule they consume more electricity. Membrane dryers, on the other hand, are ideal for drying pre-purified air with low flow rates.
