AL Delavan air atomising nozzle
Ask about product
AL Delavan air atomising nozzle series offers the user a wide selection of spray patterns, flow rates, and atomization patterns. Unlike hydraulic or pressure nozzles, which use the energy of fluid pressure to atomize, AL Series nozzles utilize the energy of compressed gas (usually air) to atomize the fluid. This allows for lower fluid pressure while still achieving a fine atomization. This is also beneficial for abrasive or high-viscosity fluids.
Construction and Materials
- Standard materials of construction are 316 stainless steel and ENP brass.
- The seals between the contact surfaces are PTFE, and the O-ring seals are Viton. Other materials can be supplied upon request.
- Standard inlet connections are 1/8 '94 BSPP and 1/4 '94 BSPP, with other sizes available upon request.

External mix conical nozzle with multiple spray patterns. Allows for controlled spraying without changing the fluid flow.
Spray angle 20-25°.
Spray pattern: Solid cone
AL 15 Nozzle:
External mix flat fan nozzle where changes in air or fluid pressure cause changes in flow or atomization.
Spray angle 45-60°.
Spray pattern: Flat fan
AL 30 Nozzle:
Internal mix conical nozzle, pressure-fed. Allows for controlled spraying without changing the fluid flow.
Spray angle 70°.
Spray pattern: Solid cone
AL 45 Nozzle:
Internal mix conical nozzle, pressure-fed. Where changes in air or fluid pressure cause changes in flow or atomization.
Spray angle 15-20°. Spray Pattern: Solid Cone
AL 60 Nozzle:
Internal mix flat fan nozzle fed by pressure. Where changes in air or liquid pressure cause a change in flow or atomization.
Spray Angle: 90-110°.
Spray Pattern: Flat fan
